Early morning hours are often especially rewarding. At JingPeng pass, in addition to the good light, it is often the only time of the day with little or no wind at all, so the lovely, long steam clouds hang in the air and only dissolve slowly. Unforgettable to me therefore was this scene at ErDi on an almost windstill morning on Dec 28, 02, a picture I had tried so many times before without success !
